Since June 2007, Grässlin belongs to the US family-owned company Intermatic. The 116-years-old business counts among the world’s leading manufacturers of energy control systems as well as professional lighting. Intermatic Inc. is known as the world’s largest producer of time switch technology with more than 4500 employees at 5 locations.

Core competencies

Grässlin’s core competency is the development and production of solution-oriented and market-driven products in the area of time switch technology, light- and temperature control as well as tariff time switches. Classic analogue time switches as well as digital products with daily, weekly and annual programs are counted among the wide product range. Also, impulse- and cycle function, holiday programs, ASTRO-programs and the communication of time switches among each other or with PC, LAN and other networks belong by now to the standard product offering. Furthermore, Grässlin offers a fundamental choice of products that combine the normal time switch function with sensors. This includes, above others, products like staircase time switches or twilight switches. Grässlin’s product portfolio is completed by time switch modules and room thermostats for heating regulation.
